Refund Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Overview
Coast does not offer voluntary returns, refunds, or exchanges when you change your mind about merchandise. This policy does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory consumer laws that apply to your purchase, including New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act where applicable.
Change of mind and sizing
If the item supplied matches your order, we do not offer a voluntary return because you no longer want it or selected a size that does not fit. Please check the size guide and your order details before paying. This does not affect your rights if the item has a problem covered by consumer law.
Customised merchandise
Personalised jerseys are printed using the nickname and number you submit. We do not offer voluntary returns for a customer-supplied spelling, number, or size mistake when the jersey matches the order. If the jersey is faulty or Coast prints details differently from the confirmed order, your applicable consumer rights still apply.
Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items
Contact us if an item is faulty, unsafe, damaged when it arrives, materially different from its description, or not what you ordered. Under the Australian Consumer Law, a major problem gives you a choice of refund or replacement; for a minor problem we may repair it within a reasonable time, and other remedies may become available if we cannot. We will also honour any other mandatory consumer rights that apply to your purchase.
Missing or delayed orders
If an order has not arrived within an agreed or reasonable time, contact us so we can investigate with the carrier and provide any remedy required by applicable law, which may include a replacement or refund. If you notice an address mistake, tell us promptly. We will try to correct it before dispatch, but carrier rerouting may not be possible once the parcel has left us. We will assess delivery problems on their facts rather than applying an automatic exclusion.
Returns and return costs
Please contact Coast before posting an item back so we can give you return instructions. Keep proof of purchase and receipts for any return postage. If we confirm the item has a problem covered by applicable consumer guarantees, we will reimburse reasonable return costs you have paid where required by law. Contacting us first helps us resolve the claim and does not restrict your consumer rights.
Orders Coast cannot fulfil
If Coast cancels an order because we cannot supply it, we will refund the amount paid for the unfulfilled order to the original payment method unless another lawful arrangement is agreed with you.
Contact
To report a problem or ask about this policy, use the contact page and include your order reference and a description of the issue. Photographs can help where relevant. We will not impose a fixed claim deadline on rights that continue under applicable consumer law.
