Overview

This policy explains what information Coast Esports collects when you use our website and how we use it.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, including contact enquiries and, when you place an order, your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, purchased items, selected sizes, jersey nickname and number, and order details. If you sign in with Discord, we also receive your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, and verified email address.

Payments

Stripe processes payment details for store orders. Coast Esports receives payment status and limited transaction information needed to manage the order, but does not receive or store your complete card number. Stripe handles information under its own privacy policy.

How we use information

We use information to operate and improve the site, respond to enquiries, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We use a secure, HTTP-only cookie to keep signed-in customers authenticated. The cookie contains a random session token; Coast stores only its cryptographic hash in the database. We may also use analytics to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although blocking the account cookie prevents login.

Third parties

Stripe processes payments and Discord authenticates customer accounts. Embedded or linked services such as YouTube and X may also collect data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. Coast does not retain Discord access or refresh tokens after login.

Data retention and security

Account sessions expire after 30 days and can be revoked by signing out. Order records are retained as needed for payment, delivery, support, accounting, and legal obligations. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us to make a request.
